Description	:	Robert Henry Oltman, the second son of Henry and Louise Oltman, was born on the 11th day of December, 1919, in the Smyrna community. When stil (sic) an infant of two weeks he was brought to the Saviour in Hoy (sic) Baptism. Later he became a member of the Salem Lutheran Sunday school and attended its sessions as often as possible. Read More	Robert Henry Oltman, the second son of Henry and Louise Oltman, was born on the 11th day of December, 1919, in the Smyrna community. When stil (sic) an infant of two weeks he was brought to the Saviour in Hoy (sic) Baptism. Later he became a member of the Salem Lutheran Sunday school and attended its sessions as often as possible. A week ago last Sunday while crossing the highway at Nora where there was a ball game in progress, little Robert was struck by a car which injured both his skull and left leg. He was at once taken to the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior. Here he was given the best of care and hopes for his recovery from these injuries were entertained But God willed it otherwise. Last Saturday morning the Lord over life and death called him hence at the age of 13 years, 6 months and 27 days. He leaves to mourn his tragic death his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and a number of other relatives and friends. Last Monday afternoon his mortal remains were laid to rest in the Salem Lutheran cemetery at Smyrna, Rev. Chr. Bunge officiating.
