Description	:	Robert James Harold Martin, 93, the son of Robert Andrew Reed Martin and Martha Elizabeth McCrory Martin, was born Aug. 3, 1905, at Mt. Clare. He died, June 25, at the Superior Good Samaritan Center. He was educated in the Mt. Clare and Nelson schools. He lived in the Mt. Clare and Bostwick areas until moving to Superior in 1955. He died, June 25, at the Superior Good Samaritan Center. He was educated in the Mt. Clare and Nelson schools. He lived in the Mt. Clare and Bostwick areas until moving to Superior in 1955. On Aug. 3,1927, he married Helen McFarland. To this union were born four children. He farmed in the Superior area and owned the Martin Implement Company. He was an active member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on Dec. 25, 1982, a grandson, a great-grandson; and three sisters, Helen Denny, Fern Stevens and Eleanor Friend. He is survived by his two daughters, Virginia Rhoads, Superior, and Elaine Kernes, Poland, Ohio, and two sons, Stephen, Crete, and Richard, Fort Dodge, Kan.; one brother, Ray Martin, Meridian, Idaho; a special niece Lynn Wilton, Superior, 18 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. Services were held on Tuesday, from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior with Pastor Paul Albrecht and Connie Raess, ELCA parish associate officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Superior Express July 1, 1999.
