Although their graves are not marked with headstones, their burials were recorded. Family researchers of the Israel/Brownfield families should use that family monument in Ashland cemetery as a guide to the names and DOB/DOD of the Israel children, but NOT necessarily that they were all buried in that cemetery. ---------------- Husband of Louise Gonterman Israel. ISREAL PASSES AWAY Funeral Services To Be Held From Home, Thursday Afternoon at 3:00 Robert Thomas Isreal passed away this morning at 5 o'clock at his home 608 West Harrison street. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 oclock from the home. Interment will take place in the Evergreen cemetery. He is survived by his wife and the following: One son, Carl of Chicago, a sister, Mrs. Charles Nicholson of Eldon and a brother, George of Eldon. One daughter, Mrs. Alta Kreigh passed away a year ago at the family home. Mr. Isreal was born February 19, 1856, in Wapello county. He came to this city about 6 years ago.
