He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and David Wyatt of Independence, Virginia; three grandchildren, Olivia and Brian Crockett of Wytheville, Virginia, Emma and Seth Boyles of Galax, Virginia, and Garret Wyatt of Independence, Virginia; two great granddaughters, Annalee Crockett and Eloise Boyles; five sisters, Dorothy Blevins of Independence, Virginia, Mary and Charles Trulock of Florida, Jean Reeves of Sparta, North Carolina, Nell Osborne of Independence, Virginia, and Jane and Bobby Gentry of Ennice, North Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Baptist Church Family Life Center in Independence, VA by Rev. David Osborne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain View Baptist Church 112 Mountain View Road Independence, Virginia 24348.
