Description	:	HIATT, ROBERT WETZEL—Robert Wetzel Hiatt, son of George and Euphanie Hiatt, was born near Stanford, Ky., March 13, 1858. He died at Geneva, Neb., July 26, 1930, aged 72 years, 4 months and 13 days. Mr. Hiatt had been in poor health for some time and the past two weeks had been receiving hospital treatment. He was married to Miss Frances Youst, October 16,... Read More	HIATT, ROBERT WETZEL—Robert Wetzel Hiatt, son of George and Euphanie Hiatt, was born near Stanford, Ky., March 13, 1858. He died at Geneva, Neb., July 26, 1930, aged 72 years, 4 months and 13 days. Mr. Hiatt had been in poor health for some time and the past two weeks had been receiving hospital treatment. Mr. Hiatt came with his parents to Illinois in 1867. In 1873 he came to Hamilton County, Nebraska, where he spent several years. He moved to Fillmore County in 1918. He was married to Miss Frances Youst, October 16, 1881. To this union were born eight children, six of whom survive. They are Blanche Selover of Kimball, Gertrude McDonald of Ansley, Mamie Williams of Omaha, Archie of Grand Island, Roy of Central City and Dean of Geneva. All were present at the funeral except Mrs. McDonald. Mrs. Hiatt died August 12, 1927. Besides his children, Mr. Hiatt is survived by a brother, William of Hill Spring, Kas. and a sister Mrs. Mollie Holden of Toledo, O., also thirteen grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted from the Dean Hiatt home in Geneva at 2 p.m. Monday, July 28. Rev. Harold C. Capsey officiated. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
