Description	:	HIATT, ROY ELZY—Roy Elzy, son of Robert and Frances Hiatt, was born near Aurora, Neb., April 29, 1893. He died suddenly at his home in Central City May 6, 1936, at the age of 43 years and 7 days. When a small boy, he moved to Kansas, returning to York county, where he grew to manhood. July 23, 1917, he was married to Miss Susie Gundersen at Seward. They lived at York for two years, moving to Geneva in 1919. He was a barber by trade, following his profession until his death. He leaves besides his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Selover of Kimball, Mrs. Gertrude McDonald of Ansley, and Mrs. Mamie Williams of Omaha; two brothers Arch of Grand Island, and Dean of Geneva. The funeral was held at Central City at 1:30 p. m. Sunday. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal May 14th, 1936 page 5.
