Description	:	Rosalia M. Buschkoetter was born on February 16, 1928 to Frank J. and Elizabeth (Buescher) Schroer in rural Mt. Clare, Nebraska. She departed this life Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska at age 88. Rosalia received her education at St. Stephen Catholic School, Lawrence. She married Leonard A. Buschkoetter on April 19, 1949 and they made their home southeast of Lawrence where they farmed and raised their six children. She married Leonard A. Buschkoetter on April 19, 1949 and they made their home southeast of Lawrence where they farmed and raised their six children. She and Leonard spent many happy years square-dancing. They retired in Lawrence and then lived at the Kensington and the Blue Hill Care Center in recent years. Rosalia was a former member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and Altar Society and was a current member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society both of Lawrence. She had also been a member of Kountry Kousins and Whirl-A-Naders Square Dance Clubs and Sacred Heart Quilt Club. Rosalia is survived by her children Marie & husband Darwin Hinrichs, Gibbon, Terry & wife Carol Buschkoetter, Lawrence, Jean & husband Darrel Springer, Oak, Karen & husband Richard Faimon, Glenvil, Doris & husband Tim Krueger, Osmond, Gerald & wife Michele Buschkoetter, Lawrence; sisters and brothers-in-law Sally Menke, Lawrence, LaVeta Rempe, Hastings, Lucille & husband Ray Rempe, Hastings, Eileen Buschkoetter, Lawrence; 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Rosalia is preceded in death by her parents; husband Leonard on June 9, 2016; infant son Alfred; brothers and sisters-in-laws Raymond Schroer, Ernest (Helen) Schroer, Hubert (Alma) Schroer, Alfred Schroer; sister and brother-in-law Delores Drudik (Vernon Menke and Albert Drudik); sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws: Irene (LeRoy) Hoelting, Verena (Wilfred) Buescher, Robert (Millie) Buschkoetter, LeRoy Buschkoetter, Vincent Menke and Al Rempe. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Thomas Schultes officiating. Assisting at the service were Bob Janda as Acolyte and Lyle Schroer as Lector. Altar Boys were Brett Hinrichs and Blake Hinrichs. Organist was Judy Schroer and Song Leader was Roger Buschkoetter. Gift Bearers for the service were Julie Hartke, Bridget Malek, Marla Hinrichs, Brooke Mazour, Neika Buschkoetter, Brenda Tonniges, Kristi Wehrman, Sara Krueger, Mollie Thompson, Abby Krueger. Pallbearers were Gavyn Buschkoetter, Cliff Mazour, Adam Krueger, Kyle Tonniges, Bruce Faimon, Doug Wehrman, Kevin Hinrichs, Curtis Thompson, Gary Hinrichs, Moh Malek. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery east of Lawrence. A memorial has been established to be designated at a later date.
