She passed away at the Fillmore County hospital on Wednesday, August 4, 1982 at the age of 80 years, 8 months and four days. She was united in marriage to William Kamler Sr. on January 11, 1922, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Marysville SK. To this union four children were born, one daughter and three sons. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Karl; sons William Jr. (Phyllis; Robert (Frances); grandchildren, William and Joseph Woods, Stanley (Virginia); James (Sherry); Richard; Susan (George) Engle; Bonnie Geweck; Thomas (Shirley)Kamler; Michael (Kim) Kamler; 2 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Frank and Clarence Schroller of Marysville,KS; Ernest and Herman Schroller of Palmdale, CA. Rose attended schools in Oklahoma and Nebraska. She lived on a farm near Shickley after her marriage, until she and her husband retired in August of 1952, moving to Geneva. She was a very giving and loving mother and grandmother to her family and loved caring for her great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva on Saturday, August 7, with the Rev Walter Banach officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons William, Joseph, and Stanley Woods, James, Richard, Thomas and Michael Kamler. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery with Farmer & Son Funeral Home in charge.
