Description	:	William C. Kamler Sr., son of Herman and Amelia (Horwig) Kamler, was born August 23, 1891, near Shickley, Fillmore County, Nebraska. He passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital Friday, March 3, 1967, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 8 days. He was united in marriage to Rose Schroller, January 11, 1922 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Marysville, Kas. To this union four children were born, one daughter and three sons. He passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital Friday, March 3, 1967, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 8 days. He was united in marriage to Rose Schroller, January 11, 1922 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Marysville, Kas. To this union four children were born, one daughter and three sons. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Rose, daughter, Mrs. Joe (Helen) Woods of Portland, Ore., Three sons, William Jr. of Shickley, Robert and Francis at home; nine grandchildren, William of Portland, Joseph of Lincoln, James, Richard, Susan, Thomas, Bonnie and Michael Kamler of Schickley, three great-grandchildren, Susan, Michael and Hugh Woods of Portland, and a brother Frank of Geneva. His parents, a sister, Hattie, and brothers, Henry Herman, and Joseph, preceded him in death. Mr. Kamler farmed all his life in Momence township until retiring in August, 1952, when he and his family moved to Geneva. He was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Geneva at 10 a.m. Monday, March 6. Rev. Paul Ulenberg officiated. Pallbearers were Wilber Kelch, Paul O'Brien, Harry Dondlinger, Anton Jacque, Andrew Kissler and Ed McCluskey. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
