Bob English officiating. Burial will be at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Crofton. Pallbearers will be John Hegge, Gary Schieffer, Mike Rye, Mike Murphy, David Wortmann, Pat Wortmann, and Jeff Wortmann. After her marriage, She and her husband farmed north of Crofton until March of 1964 when they retired and built a house along highway 121 on the south edge of their farm. She has been a resident of the Yankton Care Center since Jan. 1993. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Crofton, Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include eight children and spouses, Joan Hegge, Crofton; Lucille and Richard Rye, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Jerry and Jeanne Wortmann,Tabor, S.D.; Jim and Mary Ann Wortmann, Crofton; Richard and Nancy Wortmann, Crofton; Del Rae and Anthony Schieffer, Columbus; Robert and Barbara Wortmann, Norfolk; Judith and Patrick Murphy, Sioux Falls, S.D.; 38 grandchildren, and 56 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; seven brothers and sisters; one son-in-law, Elmer Hegge; and one grandson, Paul Wortmann. CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
