He passed away May 10, 1950 at the St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 28 days. Roy lived his entire life in this community and was baptized in the Lutheran faith. He attended grade school at Midway. He was engaged in the occupation of farming until his recent illness. He leaves to mourn his passing his father; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Gjerman of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Maxine Gross of Pueblo, Colorado and Mrs. Doris Glenn of Wolbach; two brothers, Ernie and Eddie, both of Wolbach, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, brother Bradford and sister Bertha.
