Description	:	Roy William Beitzel was the son of Daniel L. Beitzel and his wife Annie Schrock Beitzel. He had a basic grammar school education at Local Casselman School, He was age 22 when he married 21 year old Edna Maust on 17 April 1930, at Meyersdale, Somerset Co, Pa. He and Edna lived on Route 495 in the center of Bittinger. His house used to be a general store in Bittinger and the living room was a wide expansive room. He and his wife were active in the Cherry Glade Conservative Mennonite Church of Accident, MD. He and his wife had 10 children, the last two were twins who died at birth. 1) Anna Leora, 2) Mayard 3) Cleland 4) Hilda 5) Wanda 6) Leon 7) Marlin & 8) Marlene, (twins who died at birth). Roy died at home May 14 1994, age 86 years 11 months 23 days, and was buried in the nearby Cherry Glade Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery.
