Description	:	Mrs. Ruby Eilers, 65, life long resident of Nelson, died Sunday. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12, 1971 at 10:00 a.m. at the Klawitter Funeral Home in Nelson. Rev. Victor Schwarz officiated. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery. Casket bearers were Eldred Hinz, James Hinz, Lyndall Bargen, Donald Bargen, Marvin Mueller and Glen Mueller. She passed away on May 9, 1971, at the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson, Nebraska at the age of 65. On February 11, 1925, she was married to Otto D. Eilers at Mankato, Kansas. To this union were born three sons, John, Robert and Harold all of Nelson and one daughter, Helen Bradley of North Platte, Nebraska. Mrs. Eilers was baptized in the Methodist Church as a child and later confirmed in the Lutheran Church. She has lived in the Nelson area all of her life except for a few years of her childhood in Lincoln County. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Howard Ray. She is survived by her husband, three sons, one daughter, three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Alda Gerbeling of Nora, Nebraska and Mrs. Myra Braden of Tumwater, Washington, one brother, Byron Ray of Denver, Colorado and her step-mother, Mrs. Fern Laird of Superior, Nebraska.
