Description	:	Russell Kinsinger was born March 17, 1907 to Kores and Emma (Martin) Kinsinger in Iowa County near Parnell. He married Ella Hochstetler Oct. 14, 1928, in rural Kalona. Mr. Kinsinger attended rural Tucker School and was a farmer. He farmed in the counties of Johnson, Washington and Iowa. He was a member of the West Union Mennonite Church where he served as a trustee and treasurer and he was a member of the Pleasantview Home Board. Read More	Russell Kinsinger was born March 17, 1907 to Kores and Emma (Martin) Kinsinger in Iowa County near Parnell. He married Ella Hochstetler Oct. 14, 1928, in rural Kalona. Mr. Kinsinger attended rural Tucker School and was a farmer. He farmed in the counties of Johnson, Washington and Iowa. He was a member of the West Union Mennonite Church where he served as a trustee and treasurer and he was a member of the Pleasantview Home Board. Mr. Kinsinger died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Ella, of Kalona; two daughters, Marilyn Slaubaugh Fisher and husband Wallace of Wellman and Myrna Farraj and husband John of Iowa City; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister Orpha Kinsinger of Kalona. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Wayne Kinsinger; one sister, Loise Kinsinger; and a son-in-law Dwight Slaubaugh. Funeral services will be held at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. David Boshart officiating. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery in rural Wellman.
