Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Surry County to the late Robert James and Catherine Cornelia Tucker Hill. Read More	PILOT MOUNTAIN - Mrs. Ruth Etta Hill Williard, 84, of 395 Hills Presbyterian Church Road, Pilot Mountain, died Saturday evening, Aug. 17, 2002, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Surry County to the late Robert James and Catherine Cornelia Tucker Hill. Mrs. Williard was a homemaker and a member of Hills Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, John D. Williard of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Royce Sisk of King; a son and daughter-in-law, J.D. and Nadine Williard of Mount Airy; three grandchildren, Mike Williard, Kevin Williard and Renee Reed; a great-grandson, Zachary Williard; a sister, Lola Harris of Pilot Mountain; and a brother and sister-in-law, Carl C. and Julia Hill of Richmond, Va. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williard was preceded in death by a son, Cody Lee Williard; three sisters, Lillie Haymore, Winnie Jessup and Mary Venable; and three brothers, Mosby Hill, Joe Hill and James Hill. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Hills Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Williard will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 at Howell Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain and at other times at the home of Mrs. Williard. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hills Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 1720, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041 or to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 10 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to thank Village Care of King and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the care given Mrs. Williard during her illness.
