She was born Nov. 4, 1915, on a farm in Delaware County, Iowa, the only daughter of James and Urslena Arduser Thompson. She married Roger Baldwin on June 23, 1938, and they farmed until retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Clarence Methodist Church, held several offices in the Order of Eastern Star when it was an active organization in Clarence, and also enjoyed bowling on a league in Tipton for many years. She lived in the west wing of the Clarence Nursing Home the past four years. She loved to play games and missed her many Clarence friends after moving to Oxford, Ohio, where she had resided with her daughter and son-in-law the past few months. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanine (Michael) Fuller of Oxford; two sons, Roger Lynn (Diana) of Marion and Brett (Karen) of Eldrige; five grandchildren, Eric Baldwin of Marion, Heather Baldwin of Cedar Rapids, Chris (Molly) Fuller of Naperville, Ill., Chad (Terra) Fuller of Chicago and Mallory Baldwin of Eldridge; three great-grandchildren, Austin Snyder of Cedar Rapids and Addie and Casey Fuller of Naperville, Ill.; and a brother, Calvin (Lil) of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Clarence, Eugene, Lloyd and Maurice Thompson. The family requests no flowers. A memorial fund has been established.
