He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Fred T. Foster. He leaves to mourn his death his devoted wife Eldora, his two sons, Ray and Merritt, one grandson Scott Foster, Palo Alta, Calif, one great-grandson Bret, two daughters-in-law Bernice Foster and Opal Foster, one sister, Mrs H.O. (Florence) Wamsley, Clarinda, Ia, one brother Joe Foster, Clarinda, Ia, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a long time member of the Masonic Covenant Lodge No 453 AF & AM and the Order of the Eastern Star of Iowa, New Market Chapter No 481. His family will always remember his kindness and devotion to them. He truly loved his home and family. He was always interested in his home, community affairs and activities. Funeral services were held Sept 29 at the Walker Funeral home, with the Rev Clarence Moore officiating. Aletha L. Hutchings was organist. Burial was in Memory cemetery. Casket bearers were Harold Foster, Arthur Wainwright, Don Neely, Estle Foster, Keith Neely, and Carroll Ingram. Honorary bearers were Orie Thompson, Dale Crawford, C.O.
