Read More	Orangeville Banner, July 18, 1918 - "Marsville" There passed away near Portage La Prarie, Man., a well-known resident of this community in the person of Mr. Samuel Woolner. He was born in Waterloo Co., in January 1838 and had reached the age of 80 years. When a child, with his parents, he came to Garafraxa and for 60 years lived on Lot 1, Con. 13. In 1862 he married a daughter of the late Jas. Johnston and together they faithfully and successfully endured the hardships of pioneer life. He not only proved himself a successful farmer but much of his time and talents were devoted to religious work. He was an ardent believer in the Church of Christ for many years served as pastor of the Marsville branch of the church. About 15 years ago he retired from the farm and took up his residence in this village and two years after Mrs. Woolner died. Since then he has made his home with his daughter and had continued to conduct services and assisted in any good work when called upon to do so. The remains were brought to Hillsburg and the funeral took place on Tuesday to Price's cemetery. The serves were conducted by Rev. Mr. Wyle, of Guelph, and Rev. Mr. Stevenson, of Hillsburg. The surviving family are: on son William, of Winnipeg, and four daughters, Mrs. J. J. McGowan, of Portage La Prairie, Man.; Mrs. Albert Simpson, of Sault St. Marie; Mrs. R.
