Description	:	Dayton Review July 3, 1941 OBITUARY Sarah Alice Landreth, daughter of Zachariah and Lucy Landreth, was born January 26, 1871, in Yell Township, Webster county and passed away at St. Joseph hospital, Fort Dodge, Iowa, June 22, 1941, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 22 days. On December 31, 1891, she was united in marriage to Eli Allen. To this union three children were born. On son, Sylvester, passed away in infancy. Read More	Dayton Review July 3, 1941 OBITUARY Sarah Alice Landreth, daughter of Zachariah and Lucy Landreth, was born January 26, 1871, in Yell Township, Webster county and passed away at St. Joseph hospital, Fort Dodge, Iowa, June 22, 1941, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 22 days. On December 31, 1891, she was united in marriage to Eli Allen. To this union three children were born. On son, Sylvester, passed away in infancy. The first seven years if their married life were spent on farms in Dayton and Clay townships. In 1898 they moved to the farm in Yell township where they lived until they moved to Stratford in 1926. While living in Clay township she united with the United Brethren Church. Since she has lived in Stratford she has attended the Calvary Methodist church and at the time of her death was a member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service and the Alpha Circle. She was a member of the Avon chapter, Order of Eastern Star. The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, the husband, Eli Allen; two daughters, Mrs. Olga Kopp of Dayton and Velva Allen of Fort Thompson, South Dakota, one sister, Mrs. Mary Eslick; three brothers, Clarence, Charles and Emery Landreth; six grandchildren, Earl, Dorothy, Duane, Bernard, Darwin and Donald Eugene Kopp; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Stratford Calvary Methodist church in Stratford with Rev. Hutchins in charge. Burial was in the Dayton cemetery.
