Mrs. Hupman’s maiden name was Swadley, daughter of the late Wm. Swadley, and she was born a little more thorn 70 years ago near Hightown. She was twice married, her first husband being William Morgan Lunsford, and the two children of this union still survive. They are C.M. Read More	Highland Recorder September 26, 1924 MRS. SARAH HUPMAN The subject of this sketch died on the morning of Sept 19th at her home near Patna on the Cow Pasture river. Mrs. Hupman’s maiden name was Swadley, daughter of the late Wm. Swadley, and she was born a little more thorn 70 years ago near Hightown. She was twice married, her first husband being William Morgan Lunsford, and the two children of this union still survive. They are C.M. Lunsford, well-known resident and business man of Monterey, and Mrs. Guy Keister of Rolla in Augusta county. Her second husband was Geo H. Hupman, who died in the year 1912. Three sons and two daughters of this union are living, and are Warren, Rosser and Jacob at home, Mrs. R.J. Armstrong and Mrs William Armstrong at Deerfield. Mrs. Hupman had long been a consistent member of the Presbyterian church and the funeral service was held at Star Chapel Sunday afternoon, were conducted by Rev. Lyle M. Moffett, her pastor. This service was largely attended an attest to the esteem in which the deceased was held, not only by her neighbors, but by all who knew her. The pall-bearers were P.V Hupman, Roy Hupman, Charles Hupman, C.L. Gwin, Willie M. Kinkaid and W.A. Armstrong. Married George Hupman in 1886
