Death resulted from a hemorrhage, following the birth of a baby daughter, which is doing well and will given the name of her mother, Sarah Ann. Sarah Ann Neyens was born on the farm one mile east of Winnetoon, where her parents now reside, on April 25, 1904 and died at the farm northeast of Niobrara on February 8, 1941 at the age of 36 years, 9 months and 13 days. The deceased spent the greater part of her life in the vicinity of Creighton and Winnetoon. She was baptized, received her Holy Communion and was confirmed at St. Ludger Catholic church in Creighton and attended the St. Ludger Academy up to the eighth grade. On July 12 1926 she was married to James Muller and eight children were born to this union, all of whom are living. They have lived most of their married life in this vicinity until last May, when they moved to the present home near Niobrara. Mrs. Muller was a true Christine, a faithful mother. Her untimely death is doubly sad, due to the large family she leaves behind. Relatives who mourn her passing are the husband and eight children, James Jr., 13; Clayton, 12; Howard, 11, Jacob, 10; Thomas, 7, Mary Joan, 2; Francis, 1 and the infant, Sarah Ann; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Neyens; three brothers, Elmer, Charles and Joseph and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Meyer, Jennie Neyens, O'Neill and Ula Mae at home. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Ludger Catholic church. Father Windolph officiated at the requiem high mass and preached the funeral sermon. Interment was made in St. Ludger cemetery. Numerous friends and relatives were in attendance to pay a final tribute to the departed one. ...The Creighton News 13 Feb 1941
