Yetter Passes Away Sarah E. Davidson was born December 4, 1840, near Warsaw, Indiana, and died in St. Edward, Nebraska, April 25, 1909, aged 68 years, 4 months and 21 days, at the home of her son, William, south of town. Her father was a Methodist minister, a member of the North Indiana conference, a preacher of much success and power. She became a Christian at an early age and was established ever since. She was married to George W. Yetter October 20, 1857, in Randolph county, Indiana, and moved to Illinois in the year of 1860, from thence to Missouri in 1866, and then came to St. Edward in 1893. Twelve children blessed the home, five of which have preceded the mother to the better world. The seven remaining, five have been at her bedside: George W., of Fullerton, Orville F. of Wymore, Howard and William, of St. Edward, and Mrs. Annie Murray, of Palmer. Mrs. Addie Belle Patterson, of ------, Florida, and Mrs. Mamie Swim, of Delta, Colorado, were not permitted to be with their loving mother during her last illness. Her half-sister, Mrs. Ella Foglesong, of Scotia, was with her during her last hours. Besides those mentioned above she leaves an aged husband, seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and a host of friends to mourn her beautiful Christian life. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, April 27, 1909, Rev. Chas. P. Long, her pastor, speaking words of comfort and assurance of a bright future life for the deceased. Rev. W.H. Parker, of the Presbyterian church, also spoke of the Christian character as revealed to him when he made a call sometime ago, as she has been denied church services for sometime on account of failing health, yet always cheerful of a future life. Yetter Oct. 20, 1857, in Koscusco county Ind., and moved to Illinois in 1860, from there to Missouri in 1866 and they came to Nebraska in 1893. A. of Wymore, William and Howard of St. Edward, and Mrs. Anna Murray of Palmer, Nebr. Her only sister, Mrs. Ella Foglesong of Scotia, Nebr., was with her during her last few hours. Her life was a model and her faith was established. She was yearning for her heavenly home and her last strength was used in humming her favorite hymns and consigned herself into the hands of her heavenly father. The greatest loss is felt by the husband who has enjoyed the blessed companionship with this noble life. May God bless the sorrowing husband and console the bereaved. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the Methodist church. Burial was had at Evergreen cemetery.
