Description	:	The daughter of James and Priscilla Taylor, Sarah Jane married William Fisher Braden in Decatur Co., IN on Feb. 9, 1854. After several moves, the Bradens settled on a farm near Alton, Kansas where they raised a family of five sons and four daughters. When the five Braden brothers--Oral, Frank, Harry, George and Bob--met here the past week at the home of Harry Braden, they slept under the same roof for the first time in their lives. All are farmers, although the kind varies greatly. Their ages range from 65 down to 41. "Oral Braden, the oldest, left the Osborne county, Kans. home 43 years ago, two years before Bob, the youngest, was born. Oral had seen Bob when the latter was 14 years old, but had not seen George since the latter was 2. He had not met Frank and Harry for 27 years. "Oral Braden owns a 30 acre sugar beet and dairy farm at Hollister, Cal; Frank and Harry own the well known Braden ranch of 1,000 acres in the Osage country, several miles east of this city; George has a farm at Bay City, Texas, giving particular attention to the crops grown in that comonwealth; and Bob still lives on a farm in Osborne county, Kansas."
