Description	:	VADA THOMPSON Sarah Nevada Thompson was born in Montgomery County, Iowa December 31, 1865 and died at her home east of Nodaway, February 10, 1948, at the age of 82. She was reared in Montgomery County and moved to Nodaway 60 years ago with her father, sisters, and brothers, She helped her father raise a family of motherless children which have all preceded her in death except one sister, Mrs. Lou Griffith of Nodaway and one brother, Frank Thompson of Polson, Montana. Read More	VADA THOMPSON Sarah Nevada Thompson was born in Montgomery County, Iowa December 31, 1865 and died at her home east of Nodaway, February 10, 1948, at the age of 82. She was reared in Montgomery County and moved to Nodaway 60 years ago with her father, sisters, and brothers, She helped her father raise a family of motherless children which have all preceded her in death except one sister, Mrs. Lou Griffith of Nodaway and one brother, Frank Thompson of Polson, Montana. For a number of yers she has made her home with her nephew, Glen Rae and family. She has been a life long member of the Presbyterian Church and was always ready and willing to serve others at any time. Besides the sister and brother, she leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends who remember her as a a kind and loving friend. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Nodaway Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Wayne Sheffel. Pall bearers were Julius March, Floyd Agnew, John Strain, Bob Strain, Fred Carothers, and Ben Baker. Music was by Rosa and Emma Jean March with Mrs. Rose Stalder at the piano.
