Description	:	Sena was the wife of, William John Nightingale(1884-1946) & the adopting mother of Florence Elizabeth Nightingale(1916-1985). She was born in Oslo, Norway and later immigrated to the United States, where she married her husband,John, in Valley, Nebraska on July 4, 1907. Before adopting Florence, Sena, had given birth to a female baby, however, the baby passed away not long after it's birth and so, she and John, decided to try adopting. Read More	Sena was the wife of, William John Nightingale(1884-1946) & the adopting mother of Florence Elizabeth Nightingale(1916-1985). She was born in Oslo, Norway and later immigrated to the United States, where she married her husband,John, in Valley, Nebraska on July 4, 1907. Before adopting Florence, Sena, had given birth to a female baby, however, the baby passed away not long after it's birth and so, she and John, decided to try adopting. Husband, John, worked at a company called, Brandeis for many years, while Sena was a house wife & mother. In 1946, Sena's husband, John Nightingale, passed away from a heart attack and two years later, on March 21, 1948, Sena took her own life. It's interesting that she selected the date of her daughter's wedding anniversary to hang herself on. She was found in the basement of her home by her daughter Florence, at 2714 N. 58th. St. in Omaha, Nebraska. Her daughter had just returned home from her anniversary dinner with her husband, Roland, and daughter, Patty.
