Shirley Ann Mikoda was born on January 12, 1928, at Guttenberg, the daughter of Herbert and Grace Rademacher McMillin. She was raised and received her education in the Belle Plaine area. She married Dallas Mikoda in Belle Plaine and they made their home there for many years She was employed in Belle Plaine at the dime store, several restaurants and later Funk's Seed Com over the years. After her husband's death, she continued to live in Belle Plaine. She enjoyed the outdoors and the company of her cats. She is survived by a son; and a sister. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a son. Randy. Overton Van Steenhuyse Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
