ORANGEBURG - Shirley Joe Bowen, five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie J. Bowen of Santee, died at the Tri-County Hospital last night from injuries suffered when she was struck by a truck earlier in the day at Santee.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Temperance Hill Baptist Church, near Marion. Burial will be in the churchyard.

Surviving are the parents; three brothers, John, James and Albert Bowen; and two sisters, Dorothy and Bobby Jean Bowen, all of Santee.
