Description	:	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor Michael Spurzem: Geyser Man, 98, Called By Death Simon McAllister, 98, Geyser, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Kirby of Geyser, Tuesday. The body is at the O'Connor Chapel. Funeral services will be held at Geyser at a time to be announced later. McAllister was born in Armagh, Ireland in 1844. He moved to Canada with his parents when he was 2 years old. He engaged in ranching in Canada for many years and then retired, moving to Geyser about 30 years ago. He moved to Canada with his parents when he was 2 years old. He engaged in ranching in Canada for many years and then retired, moving to Geyser about 30 years ago. He was married at Westport, Ont., in 1866 to Ellen Burns. They had eight children, all of whom are living. Survivors, in addition to the daughter, Mrs. Kirby, are four sons, John, Stephen and Patrick McAllister, all of Geyser, and Mark McAllister of Vallejo, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Godfrey of Kingston, Ont., and Mrs. Jack Driscoll and Mrs. Mary Ann Garrah, both of Home Island, Ont.; 52 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren. Fourteen grandsons are serving in either the Canadian or United States armies. Printed in the Great Falls Dailey Leader on Feb. 3, 1943 on page 1.
