Description	:	Soren was the first child of 9 children born to Christian and Marie Sorensdatter Olesen. He was born November 2, 1879 and baptised in 1880. Soren married Bertha Andrews September 12, 1901. Their first child was a boy, Albert Olsen, born October 31, 1902. On April 21, 1904, a daughter, Mary A. was born. She contracted diptheria and died on January 10, 1905, at the age of 6 months, 19 days. Another daughter, Burnice M. was born that same year on December 25, 1905. He was born November 2, 1879 and baptised in 1880. Soren married Bertha Andrews September 12, 1901. Their first child was a boy, Albert Olsen, born October 31, 1902. On April 21, 1904, a daughter, Mary A. was born. She contracted diptheria and died on January 10, 1905, at the age of 6 months, 19 days. Another daughter, Burnice M. was born that same year on December 25, 1905. She also contracted diptheria and died one month later on January 28, 1906. Seven days before Burnice's death, Bertha also died, on January 21, 1906. Mother and daughters are buried at the Hardy City, Nebraska,cemetery. Albert and his dad, Soren, managed for three years, until Soren married AnSophia Swanson on March 11, 1909. They gave Albert 8 brothers and sisters: Myron, Gladys, Verta, Alvin, Carl, Kenneth, Blanche, Delbert and Betty Jane. Albert wrote a story of living with Soren in a sod house after his mother died. Census records locate Soren and AnSophia in Highland, Nuckolls County, Nebraska, in 1910, 1920, and 1930. Census records have not been available from 1930 forward.
