Description	:	Blanche Arlene Bridwell, 78, the daughter of Soren and Ansophia Swanson Olsen, was born July 19, 1921, on a farm near Bostwick. She died Nov. 16, at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, Neb. She attended Pleasant Ridge Country School. On Aug. 16, 1940, in Mankato, she married Ernest E. Bridwell. This union was blessed with five children, Charles, Virginia Arlene, Robert, Sandy and Edward. Their entire married life was in Nuckolls County. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 18, 1992, four brothers, Kenneth, Albert, Myron and Alvin Olsen; two sisters, Verda Corman and Gladys Svendsen and three grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Charles (Chuck), Superior and Robert of Hillsboro, Ore.; and Edward, Gaylord, Kan.; two daughters, Virginia Arlene Wilde, Belle Fourche, S.D., and Mrs. Richard Thomas (Sandy), Salina; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren (NOTE: I think this should be great-grandchildren); a sister, Mrs. Darrell Frye (Betty Jane), Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and two brothers, Carol Olsen, Springfield, Ohio, and Delber Olsen, Phoenix, Ariz. Services were Saturday from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Superior, with the Rev. Harold Backus officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, was in charge of arrangements. Superior Express, Thursday, November 25, 1999
