Description	:	Gene E. Billings, 70, of Donnellson, died at Henry County Health Center. He was born to Francis Emmett and Thelma Lee Cox Billings. On March 29, 1969, he married Twyla Lee in Kahoka, Missouri. Mr. Billings was a granduate of Argyle High School. He retired from the Army with 27 years of service, serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Survivors include his wife; son, Kenton of Burlington; daughters, Marla R. Neff and Marie Jackson, both of Donnellson; one grandson, Kiel Jackson whom they raised; nine additional grandchildren; brother, Gary of Donnellson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one grandson. A graveside memorial service with full military rites was held with Elder Jerry Speir officiating.
