Ruth; Mrs. Glenn Arthur Sherman), Fairfield, one son, Marvin, who is in the coast guard and stationed at Gulfport, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Carol Linn Sherman, Fairfield; and her mother, Mrs. Hannah (Anna) Jacobs, also of Fairfield. The following sisters also survive: Mrs. Lila Castile, Stillwater, Oklahoma; Mrs. Grace Stoner, Fairfield; Mrs. Ruth Diehl, Pleasant Plain; Mrs. Mildred Anderson, Abington, Illinois; and Mrs. Effie Burns, Trenton, Illinois. Funeral services were held in the Fairfield Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Alfred Boberg and Rev. A.B. Keast. Burial was in the Fairfield cemetery. Gus Scott, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. E.G. Linder, sang two songs. Pall bearers were -- Grant Jacobson, George Harden, Frank Trabert, Dave Hopkirk, Harold Nelson, C.N. Mickey.
