Description	:	(KS) Belleville Telescope March 20, 1975 Stella Mahala Clark Hirons, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Mahala Lantz Clark, was born on September 26, 1887 in Gosper County, near Lexingston, Nebr., and died March 12, 1975, while living at Park View Manor in Deshler, Nebr., at the age of 87 years, six months and 14 days. She was educated in schools near Elwood, Nebr., and was married to David Hirons on December 25, 1917, in her parents home in Republic County, five miles from Munden. Read More	(KS) Belleville Telescope March 20, 1975 Stella Mahala Clark Hirons, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Mahala Lantz Clark, was born on September 26, 1887 in Gosper County, near Lexingston, Nebr., and died March 12, 1975, while living at Park View Manor in Deshler, Nebr., at the age of 87 years, six months and 14 days. She was educated in schools near Elwood, Nebr., and was married to David Hirons on December 25, 1917, in her parents home in Republic County, five miles from Munden. Mr. and Mrs. Hirons had no children of their own, but took a nephew, Meredith, and raised him as their own child. The couple farmed a farm four miles from Munden until March of 1948, when they moved to Hubbell. Mrs. Hirons was a member of the Presbyterian church in Hubbell until it closed. Then she joined the Methodist Church on Feb. 5, 1956. She served as organist for many years in both churches. She was a member of United Methodist Women and of the Order of Eastern Star, until the Hubbell Chapter closed. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors are her sister, Agnes Smith of Omaha, Nebr., and Marjorie Clark of Hubbell. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 15, in the United Methodist church, Hubbell, Nebraska. Interment was in Hubbell Cemetery. Reverends Opal and Norman Crounse officiating.
