HUNLEY Susan Elnora Coleman was born at Baltimore, Md., Nov. 4, 1861, and deparrted this life Nov. 12, 1931 at tthe age of 70 years and 8 days. She lived at Baltimore until four years of age when with her parents she removed to Adams county Ills. At the age of twelve she made a public profession of her faith in Christ, and was always an active worker for her Master. On January 26, 1882, she was united in marriage to Harrington L. Hunley. To this union twelve children werre born four of them having preceded her in death. After their marriage they lived in Adams, Illinois, until their removal to Pawnee City, Nebraska, arriving here February 29, 1884. For the next seven years they lived on a farm south-west of Pawnee City, where they endured the hardships of early life in this state. In November, 1891, they removed to Pawnee City, where they have lived ever since. Hers was an active and busy life, never to busy with the cares of a large family to assist others who needed help. She was a loving and considerate mother and grandmother, and she leaves a place in the home which can never be filled. She leaves to mourn her going her husband and eight children, Mrs. Ralph Eichhorn, Lincoln, Nebr.,; Mrs. Florence Leonard, Beatrice, Nebr.; Jay, John, William and Mary Hunley, Mrs. R. V. Knox and Mrs. W. E. Luedeke all of this city. Also six grandchildren Mrs. Cecil McBride, and Miss Ina Eichhorn of Lincoln, Nebraska, Miss Eveln Leonard, of Beatrice, Nebraska, Carolyn Elaine, and Betty Elnora Hunley and Betty Alice Knox, of this city. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. R. V. York, of this city, Mrs. Anna Ralph of Carthage, Illinois, and Mrs. Mary Enlow of Liberty, Illinois., besides a host of other relatives and friends.
