Description	:	MISSOULA - Susan L. Ridgeway, 54, died of cancer Sunday in Missoula. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Creel Funeral Home of Lewistown. Her memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in Stanford, with burial of ashes in Stanford Cemetery. A reception will be held at the church after the burial. She graduated as valedictorian of her class at Stanford High School and attended business college at Eastern Montana College in Billings. Sue worked for the Basin State Bank and Matthews Insurance Agency before settling down to raise her two beautiful children, Ashley and Brandon. She passed away after a painful battle with endometrial cancer. Sue was sweet and gentle, her defining traits. She loved the Lord and lived her life in His service. We will all miss her love and generosity. She gave to others, even though she herself suffered most of her adult life from mental illness and had very little of a material nature. She had a gift for everyone on every occasion. Sue's father, John Ridgeway, died earlier this year. She is survived by her children, Brandon Ernst, of Missoula, and Ashley (Joel) Maart, of Duluth, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Titus and Nicholas Maart, of Duluth; her mother, Emma Ridgeway, of Miles City; her siblings and their spouses, Randy (Dawn) Ridgeway, of Stanford, Mary Jo Ridgeway (Gary Day), of Miles City and Mike Ridgeway, of Stanford; her nephews, Robert and Blake Ridgeway, Cole Mickelson and Lucas and Lander Ridgeway; her aunts, Avis Perry, Irene Potter, Sylvan Ridgeway and Joan Phillips; as well as numerous cousins on both sides of her family. The family suggests memorials to the Billings Clinic Foundation, P.O. Box 31031, Billings, MT 59107. The Billings Clinic and the Billings Clinic Hospital for years generously provided care to Sue, recognizing she did not have the ability to pay. Your memorials would help others in need.
