Platt 78, who had been ill for three months. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Daup, she was born October 12, 1877, in Loudonville, O., one of nine children. In 1887 the family moved to Papillion. Platt 78, who had been ill for three months. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Daup, she was born October 12, 1877, in Loudonville, O., one of nine children. In 1887 the family moved to Papillion. In 1899 she was married to Charles M. Platt in Papillion. Two children were born to this union. Mary died in 1952 and Harry died in 1953. Mr. Platt died in 1942. The couple lived in and around Papillion until 1932 when they moved to Omaha. In recent years Mrs. Platt had divided her time between Omaha and Los Gatos. Survivors are a granddaughter, Mrs. JoAnn Byrd, and three great-grandchildren of Los Gatos, and nieces Mrs. Maude C. Herbert, Mrs. Helen Peterson and Mrs. Erma Ronberg of Omaha, Mrs. Ethel Weide of Colorado Springs, Colo, and Mrs. Ruth Woodrow of Kansas City, Mo., and a nephew, John Daup of Papillion. The funeral was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Kahler Mortuary with Dean Arthur Barnhart of Trinity Cathedral, Omaha, officiating. Burial was in Cedar Dale Cemetery. Pallbearers were H. W. Eaton, Marvin Chapman, Jack Stepp and Don Chapman of Papillion and Roy Kiger and Carl Gottsch of Springfield.
