Description	:	Susanna Jane Martin, daughter of John and Nancy Martin, was born in Fayette county, Ohio, on October 7, 1850. Departed this life on August 12, 1932, age 81 years, 10 months, and 5 days at the home of Mrs. Mae Mart in in Leon, Iowa. On March 17, 1867, she was united in marriage to David J. Stump, of Libertyville, Iowa, who departed this life September 28, 1879. To this union four sons were born. Read More	Susanna Jane Martin, daughter of John and Nancy Martin, was born in Fayette county, Ohio, on October 7, 1850. Departed this life on August 12, 1932, age 81 years, 10 months, and 5 days at the home of Mrs. Mae Mart in in Leon, Iowa. On March 17, 1867, she was united in marriage to David J. Stump, of Libertyville, Iowa, who departed this life September 28, 1879. To this union four sons were born. Three - Georgie, Marion and Johnnie have passed on the the better land, leaving one son, Melvin of Rogersville, Missouri. Mrs. Stump was one of eight children of which three sisters are left, namely, Mrs. Harriett E. Stump of Libertyville, Iowa. Mrs. Mary Fillmore, of San Jose, California, Mrs. Sarah Reinker of Douds, Iowa. Besides the son and sister she leaves a host of nephews, neices, friends, and neighbors. She joined the Christian church in her early married life. In following years she transferred her membership to the Church of Christ of Leon, Iowa. She was also a member of the Woman's Relief Corps of Iowa. She had a living disposition and will be greatly missed by her neighbors and friends. Funeral services were held by Rev. Wm. Campbell of Decatur City, Iowa, at the funeral home of Mr. Stewart in Leon, Iowa, at 10:30, Monday morning. Burial was in the Leon cemetery. Those attending the service from a distance were Melvin Stump, son of Rogersville, Missouri; Mrs. Sarah Reniker, a sister of Douds; Mrs. Mae Holder, niece of Douds; Mr. and Mrs. Emery Lanman and son Clay of Bonaparte, Mrs Lanman being a niece of the departed.
