Description	:	Terry Gene Tams was born on December 8, 1937, on the family farm near Clutier, the son of William and Elsie (Mochal) Tams. Terry graduated from Traer High School with the class of 1956. He then served his country in the United States Marines for four years. Upon his honorable discharge, he came home to help on the family farm for three years. He then worked at John Deere until his retirement at age 57. He enjoyed his yearly family fishing trip to Canada, and spending the holidays with his family, especially his nieces... Read More	Terry Gene Tams was born on December 8, 1937, on the family farm near Clutier, the son of William and Elsie (Mochal) Tams. Terry graduated from Traer High School with the class of 1956. He then served his country in the United States Marines for four years. Upon his honorable discharge, he came home to help on the family farm for three years. He then worked at John Deere until his retirement at age 57. He enjoyed his yearly family fishing trip to Canada, and spending the holidays with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Terry died of natural causes at the age of 81 on December 8, 2018, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents. Terry is survived by a sister, Kay (Rob) Mairs of Ashton, Illinois; seven nieces and nephews; and two great nephews. Graveside service at Oneida Cemetery in rural Clutier.
