Description	:	Thomas William Higgins, 77, of Villisca died of chronic heart disease Friday morning at his home here after several years of illness, was born October 23, 1859 near Hillsboro, Ohio. He was the son of George Washington Higgins and Harriet Ellen Powers and spent his earlier lie in Ohio and Illinois until the year of 1880 when he moved to Villisca where he made his home until his death. He was the son of George Washington Higgins and Harriet Ellen Powers and spent his earlier lie in Ohio and Illinois until the year of 1880 when he moved to Villisca where he made his home until his death. Mr. Higgins was one of nine children, four of whom survive him. They are Asa Higgins, Villisca, Chas. Higgins, Creston, Mrs. Geo. Neeley, Atlantic, and James Higgins of Maitland, Missouri. Mr. Higgins was never married. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2. p.m. in the Eno & Sutphen Funeral Chapel where the body had been taken Friday morning and were conducted by Rev. W. S. Boden, pastor of the Advent Christian Church. The music was by the Missess Thelma Anderson and Ruth Steward, accompanied on the piano by Miss Marie Petters and the pall bearers were Jule Bean, P. L.
