Tom was born February 29, 1924 in Fairfield, the son of Arthur "Fred" and Nevada Shondel Bradley. He was a lifetime resident of Fairfield. Tom was graduated from Fairfield High School in 1941 and attended the University of Maryland prior tto entering the U.S. Army serving with the 102 nd Infantry from 1941 until 1946. Tom was born February 29, 1924 in Fairfield, the son of Arthur "Fred" and Nevada Shondel Bradley. He was a lifetime resident of Fairfield. Tom was graduated from Fairfield High School in 1941 and attended the University of Maryland prior tto entering the U.S. Army serving with the 102 nd Infantry from 1941 until 1946. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. He married Mary Belle Anderson on December 31, 1947 in Fairfield. She preceded him on December 9, 2009.Tom was foundry supervisor at the Dexter Company. He was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W.. Tom was the foundry supervisor at Dexter Company before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and especially intarsia. Preceded in death by his wife Mary Belle on December 9, 2009, his parents, 2 sisters: Phyllis Kelton and Linda Vorhies, and 3 brothers Pete, Jim and Charles Bradley. Surviving are his daughter Tammy D. Hill and husband Sut of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and his son Tommy J. Bradley and his wife Sheryl of Naperville, Illinois, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. 1 sister Ann Edwards of Washington, Iowa , and 4 brothers John ( Rachel ) Bradley of Palm Coast, Florida, Jack ( Dee ) Bradley of Fairfield, Jerry ( Lea) Bradley of Mt. Pleasant and Mike ( Iona ) Bradley of Red Lyon, PA. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Mike Christensen officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield. The family will greet friends on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospitals, the Disabled American Veterans or to the Lord's Cupboard in Fairfield. Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
