He was born June 21, 1931 in Henry County, Ohio to the late Arnold and Emma (Huner) Miller. On October 8, 1955 he married Joan Norden at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township and they have shared over 57 years together. Read More	Victor Arnold Miller, 82, of Defiance, Ohio died Friday morning, July 26, 2013 at Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, Ohio. He was born June 21, 1931 in Henry County, Ohio to the late Arnold and Emma (Huner) Miller. On October 8, 1955 he married Joan Norden at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township and they have shared over 57 years together. Victor served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifetime farmer and dairy farmer. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township and currently a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township. He was a member of the Ward L. Adams American Legion Post #454, Ridgeville Corners; Amvets Post 1313, Napoleon; and a passionate member of Ohio Orphan Grain Train. He was the former custodian at both the Legion and the St. Paul Lutheran Church. In his spare time, Victor enjoyed fishing, playing cards, spending afternoons at the Ten Pin Tap and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Vicki (Carlos) Grieser; Sandy (Dave) Meyer; Steven Miller; Douglas Miller; Rodney Miller; grandchildren, Shain Meyer; Kylee (Rex) Miller; Brandi (Phil) Baden; great grandchildren, Ryley and Bryce Miller; sisters, Dorothy Hastedt and Lillian (Vernon) Meyer. He was preceded in death by sister, Rufina Basselman and brothers, Ed, Delbert and Harlan Miller. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon with Rev. Stephen Niermann officiating. Military honors will be accorded by Ward L. Adams American Legion Post #454 and a luncheon will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund; Ward L. Adams American Legion Post #454 or Ohio Orphan Grain Train.
