Description	:	When Jennie was a small child she moved with her parents from Illinois to Mount Pleasant, Iowa where she lived until she was married to Mr. Brodock. Jennie and husband Henry were married December 23, 1880 in Jasper County, Iowa. They moved to Polk County, Nebraska in 1886, living there until they moved to Wiggle Creek in Sherman County in 1903. Wiggle Creek settlement was 4-7 miles south of Loup City, Nebraska. Jennie was sick about a year before she died; she died at 2:00 AM. Her death was probably in her home in Wiggle... Her youngest child was age 14 when Jennie died. Her funeral was at the Methodist Church in Loup City. She was survived by her husband, four daughters and one son. In the photo at the right, Jennie is the one on the left. The other two are her daughters Jessie (center) and Bessie. The following is a published death notice article: Mrs. H. W. Brodock Dead News reached the city Monday of the death of Mrs. H. W. Brodock of Wiggle Creek who died last Monday morning at 2 a.m. Mrs. Brodock had been sick about a year and the taking away of Mrs. Brodock leaves another home without a mother. Mrs. Brodock leaves a husband, four daughters and one son to mourn her loss. The youngest of the children being about 14 years old. The funeral services were held yesterday from the Methodist church. Rev. Stroll pastor of the United Brethren church preaching the sermon and the body laid to rest in the Verdurette cemetery. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved ones.
