LITTLE passed away very suddenly at his home south of town Monday. He had just returned from a walk around the barnyard when he was taken ill and as soon as he could be made comfortable, Dr. Peterson was called. Upon his arrival, MR. LITTLE conversed with him for a few minutes quite naturally when a stroke of apoplexy snapped the brittle thread of life instantly. MR. LITTLE had been in failing health for several years, suffering from high blood pressure, but was apparently better. He had, however, been suffering with a return of the old trouble, for the past few weeks, especially since Saturday. He is one of the pioneers of this section. OBITUARY WILLIAM WARREN LITTLE was born near Madison, Wisconsin, April 25, 1855, and passed away January 5, 1925. He moved with his father to Harrison County, Missouri, in 1856 and lived in Colfax Township for several years. He belonged to one of the pioneer families of the county having lived here since he was one and a half years old. He attended the district school and grew up on the farm. His father being an invalid he had little to give his children. MR. LITTLE, therefore, started as a poor boy and began early to make his own way in the world. He helped break up the wild prairie land and worked hard for his success. WARREN LITTLE was married on November 8, 1877, to MARTHA C. GRAHAM and to this union five children were born: MABEL G., wife of HARRY WILCOXSON; LETHA D., wife of JAMES HART; NORA, wife of HENRY BROOKS; JAMES OTIS and GLEN G. MRS. LITTLE died September 14, l917. On October 15, 1919 he was united in marriage with MAE LILLIAN GRAHAM, a cousin of MRS. MARTHA C. LITTLE. MR. LITTLE has been a member of the United Brethren Church for several years and through it all was loyal to his church. He made a marked success in life by his own efforts. Ambition and determination made possible the carrying out of his enterprises. He was public spirited assisting in many projects of general interest. Notable among them were the Jefferson highway, which MR. LITTLE hoped one day would be paved. MR. LITTLE was also a good husband and father and a staunch friend. He will be greatly missed in his community. Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m., Rev. J. Vincent Gray preaching the sermon. Mrs. Francis Norris sang "Face to Face" and assisted in a quartet, the other members of which were Mrs. W.E. Prall, Thad Howland, and A. Otis White.
