He passes away in the Brewster hospital at Holdrege June 20, 1936, aged 72 years and 1 month. His wife preceded him in death Oct-ober 28, 1933. His mother passed away when he was but three days old and he was taken and raised by his Grandmother Douglas. Read More	Webster Douglas Prusia May 21, 1864-June 20, 1936 Webster Douglas Prusia, second child of George and Minerva Prusia, was born in Jackson County, Iowa May 21, 1864. He passes away in the Brewster hospital at Holdrege June 20, 1936, aged 72 years and 1 month. His wife preceded him in death Oct-ober 28, 1933. His mother passed away when he was but three days old and he was taken and raised by his Grandmother Douglas. He came to Franklin county with her in May 1872, settling on Re-becca creek, southwest of Blooming-ton. They moved to Franklin in 1881. He was section foreman on the Burl-ington railroad at Riverton and Blue Hill of this state, and at Burns Junction. December 25, 1889, he was mar-ried to Miss Urva Whitmore in Franklin. To this union were born three children, Clarence A., Florence G., and Elmer C. The latter preceded him in death in March 1921. Mr. Prusia engaged in farming again on Rebecca creek in 1891, and began working for the Naponee Mill-ing Co., in 1895. In June, 1896, he moved to Franklin and began clerk-ing in the Steve Doher hardware store. He continued to work in the hardware business until 1918, when he opened a hardware store of his own, which he continued to operate until his death, in partnership with his son, Clarence. He was a man who was loved and respected by all. As a husband an father his whole thot and ambition was for their comfort and happiness, being passionately devoted to home and family. His friends were num-bered by those who knew him. Besides his son and daughter he leaves to mourn his departure nine grandchildren, his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Clarence A. Prusia, and his son-in-law, Daws H. Platt, both of Franklin; one brother, Geo. O. Pru-sia, Chicago, Ill.; two aunts, Mrs. Ida Douglas, of Kearney, Nebr., and Mrs. Hettie J. Hefner, of El Campo, Tex., besides cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of friends, who will miss him. Those from out of town who were here to attend the services were Mrs. James O.
