Mr. Ousdahl died Thursday, Aug. 29, 1996, at the Kansas University Medical Center. He was born April 6, 1915, in Lawrence, the son of Elmer Ousdahl and Ollie Mae Coffman. He attended Sunny Side Elementary School in Jefferson County and attended Lawrence High School. He worked for Elmer Bircher. Later, he was a farmer and dairyman north of Lawrence. Other memberships and activities included membership in the Lawrence Farm Bureau. He was chairman of the Hardy Oak Cemetery Board, a board member of the Sarcoxie Township and helped start and was a life member of the Lawrence Farmer's Co-op. He married Ethel Opal Wadkins on Oct. 19, 1935, in Leavenworth. She survives the home. Other survivors include one son, W. Wayne Ousdahl, Abilene, one daughter, E.
