Description	:	Wilhelm Julius Heinrich Magarin Wilhelm Julius Heinrich Magarin, son of Wilhelm Magarin and Wilhelmina, nee Frahm, was born in Chicago, Illinois, January 2, 1876, and died April 30, 1937, at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 28 days. While yet in infancy he was baptized in Chicago. On March 30, 1890 he was confiremed in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Blue Hill, and later became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he remained in membership until the time of his death. Read More	Wilhelm Julius Heinrich Magarin Wilhelm Julius Heinrich Magarin, son of Wilhelm Magarin and Wilhelmina, nee Frahm, was born in Chicago, Illinois, January 2, 1876, and died April 30, 1937, at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 28 days. While yet in infancy he was baptized in Chicago. On March 30, 1890 he was confiremed in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Blue Hill, and later became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he remained in membership until the time of his death. When seven years of age he came to Webster county (1883) with his parents. In the year 1903 he lost a leg in a saw mill accident at Seattle, Washington. Then for several years he operated a cream station in Blue Hill and later for many years he was in business here, operating a feed store. Several years preceding his health he spent on his farm near Bladen and around Blue Hill. Mr. Magarin was in failing health for sometime and on Monday, April 19, was taken to the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, later being removed to the home of his youngest brother, Albert, where he died. He passed away at 10:30 am., Friday, April 30, 1937, leaving to mourn his death his four brothers, August, Fred, Henry, and Albert, many other relatives and friends. His parents and 3 sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Hill, conducted by Rev. F.C. Schuldt of Hastings, in the absence of the pastor, Rev. C.H. Goede. Pallbearers were Christ Buschow, Herman Kort, Robert Schlichtman, Harm VanBoening, John Meinte and Fred Bock. Flower girls were Bertha, Elsie and Viola Magarin, and Mrs. LaVern Goerig. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of William Johnson, Harlan VanBoening, L.W. Griffith and Harold Waechter, accompanied by Mrs. Byron Vaughan. Burial was in the Blue Hill Cemetery. Blue Hill Leader 7 May 1937 Front page
