Description	:	MRS. WILHELMINA HARTUNG Mrs. Wilhelmina Hartung was born Nov. 23, 1878 in Richardson county, Nebr., the daughter of Peter Fankhauser and his wife, Mary Ann nee Stauffer. She was married to Moritz Hartung March 21, 1901. They were blessed with five children. They were Fred of DuBois, Marie, wife of Rev. Otto J. Krueger, Cibolo, Texas, Charley, John and Louise, wife of Leslie J. Gunzenhauser all of Humboldt. Survivors besides her children are 11 grandchildren, three brothers, John of Humboldt, Albert of Bakersfield, Calif., and Jake of Dallas, Texas, a sister, Mrs. Floyd Black, Centralia, Kans. Krueger, Cibolo, Texas, Charley, John and Louise, wife of Leslie J. Gunzenhauser all of Humboldt. Survivors besides her children are 11 grandchildren, three brothers, John of Humboldt, Albert of Bakersfield, Calif., and Jake of Dallas, Texas, a sister, Mrs. Floyd Black, Centralia, Kans. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1937, two brothers, Peter and Charlie and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Meisner and Rose Fankhauser. Two years after the death of her husband she left the family home in DuBois and lived with her daughter Marie. In each place where her daughter' family lived she made many friends. She was an extremely kind soul and to know her was to love her. Her main subject in life was to minister to the comfort of her loved ones. She was ill for a number of years but was always able to overcome her weakness until about three months ago whe her ailment confined her to bed. During all this time she was Patient and bravely bore her cross. She was relieved of her suffering Wednesday, April 2, 1952 at Cibolo, Texas. She reached the age of 73 years, 4 months and 9 days. Funeral services were held in San Antonia, Texas and at Four Mile Church. (Pawnee Republican, Pawnee City, NE.)
