The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Hospice or First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Millane was born June 2, 1906, in Lockridge, to Albert and Anne (sic. Anna) Mae Duttweiler King. She married Fred Millane March 10, 1926. He died Nov. 1, 1982. She lived in the Fairfield community most of her life, until moving to live with her daughter in 1985. She graduated from Fairfield High School. She worked as a clerk for Colson Bakery and Walker's Office Supplies for several years. She was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and a member of the Philathea class. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Topping of Bettendorf; five granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Tel King of Georgia. In addition to her husband, her parents; two brothers, Rheinold and Albert; and three sisters, Mary Wurth, Margaret Robinson and Betty Reeder preceded her in death.
