Saint, a old resident of this neighborhood, were held at 2:30 Friday from the Christian chruch here, in charge of Rev. George Biersborn, of Liscomb. Mr. Saint was born near Union, July 4, 1866. When 5 years of age he moved with his parents to Kansas, where his father homesteaded a farm near Jewell. Saint, a old resident of this neighborhood, were held at 2:30 Friday from the Christian chruch here, in charge of Rev. George Biersborn, of Liscomb. Mr. Saint was born near Union, July 4, 1866. When 5 years of age he moved with his parents to Kansas, where his father homesteaded a farm near Jewell. The home farm still is in the Saint family. 1890 William Saint returned to Hardin county, Iowa, and on Sept. 20, 1893, was married to Ester Walton. They have made their home on their farm three miles north of Whitten for 28 years. Four children were born to them but their first boy and girl died in infancy. Besides Mrs. Saint there survive one son, Roy, living on the home place, a daughter, Mrs. Florence Vinton of near Whitten, and four brothers, Thomas, of Jewel, Kan., Frank, of Stillwater, Okla., George of Perkins, Okla., and Forrest of Oshkosh, Neb. Those from a distance who attended the services were: Mrs. John Lamer and two sons, Frank Lamer and Mrs. Myrtle Line, of Walnut; Mrs. Hattie McCormick and Mr. and Mrs. Brown, of Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Foster, Iowa Falls; Frank Saint, Stillwater, Okla.; George Saint, Perkins, Okla., and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Saint, of Jewell, Kan.
