He was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County and a retired textile worker. Mr. Ramsey was a veteran of World War II and a member of Broad River Baptist Church. He is a son of the late Worth and Mary Willis Ramsey. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maebelle Crocker Ramsey; one son, Jerry Ramsey of Kings Mountain, N. C; five daughters, Miss Myra Ramsey of the Home, Mrs. Dwain Earls of Blacksburg, Mrs....
